Ciao a tutti! Come stanno?

Yesterday, thanks to Herick <3, I had the opportunity to watch first than everyone the premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them! I was missing the chance to wear my Hogwarts vest and feel that magic atmosphere. I was already crying when the Warner symbol apeard! Potterheads…THE MAGIC IS BACK!

Ontem, graças ao Herick ❤, eu tive a oportunidade de assistir em primeira mão a pré estreia de Animais Fantásticos e Onde Habitam! Eu estava com muita saudade de poder usar a minha capa de novo e de sentir aquele clima de magia no ar. Comecei a chorar já quando apareceu o logo da Warner! É Potterheads… THE MAGIC IS BACK! 

I got very thrilled because there was 4 years since Deathly Hallows part 2 and now we have a new movie about this enchanting universe that is in my life since I was 5 years-old (yes, I watched the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001) hahaha. Well, I can assure you that aunt J.K. remains beautiful, gorgeous, queen and nailing  in the face of the society!

Fiquei muito emocionada porque faziam quatro anos desde Relíquias da Morte pt. 2 e agora temos um novo filme sobre esse universo lindo, que está presente na vinha vida desde os meus 5 aninhos (sim, eu assisti a Pedra Filosofal em 2001) hahaha. Enfim, posso garantir-lhes que a tia J. K. continua linda, deusa, rainha e sambando na cara da sociedade!

The movie is just GORGEOUS! And I think that it isn´t enought for the production. I was happy to see that it was directed and produced by the same Harry Potter’s team (David Yates, Steve Kloves, David Heyman e etc), but I missed the soundtrack by  John Williams and Alexander Desplat. What matters is that all went beautiful and well in the end, even so because of Eddie’s acting, that was AMAZING!

O filme é simplesmente MARAVILHOSO! Acho que isso seria pouco para a mega produção. Fiquei feliz de ver que foi dirigido e produzido pela mesma equipe de Harry Potter (David Yates, Steve Kloves, David Heyman e etc), mas senti a falta da trilha sonora do John Williams e do Alexander Desplat. O que importa é que o conjunto da obra ficou lindo, ainda mais com a atuação do Eddie, que foi IMPECÁVEL! 

During the movie we can have memories of Harry Potter, just as the basic spells, mentions to Hogwarts and Dumbledore, see how the wizard movement was in North America with the MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) and specially freak out with Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. Guys, you all need to see this movie IMMEDIATELY!

Durante o filme podemos ter várias lembranças de Harry Potter, bem como os feitiços básicos, menção à Hogwarts e ao Dumbledore, ver como o movimento bruxo estava presente da América do Norte com a MACUSA ( Congresso Mágico dos Estados Unidos da América) e principalmente surtar com o Johnny Depp como Grindelwald! Gente, vocês precisam ver esse filme IMEDIATAMENTE!

I won’t say anything else because I don’t want to reveal any spoilers, but I make sure that if you saw Harry Potter at the theaters, you’ll be very excited again with Fantastic beasts!

Não quero falar mais para não revelar nenhum spoiler, mas eu garanto, se você viu Harry Potter no cinema, vai se emocionar de novo com Animais Fantásticos!

Through the canals of Venice / Pelos canais de Veneza

Ciao a tutti!

My Italy journal is ending and in this post I’ll talk about the mysterious city of Venice. You’d probably watched “The Tourist” with Angelina Jolie (#RIP Brangelina) and Johnny Depp, and I tell you that the city is exactly gorgeous just like the movie!

O diário da Itália está chegando ao fim, e hoje eu vou falar mais sobre a misteriosa cidade de Veneza. Você provavelmente já deve ter assistido ao filme “O Turista” com a Angelina Jolie (#RIP Brangelina) e com o Johnny Depp, e vou-lhe dizer que a cidade é exatamente linda como aparece no filme!

Well, Venice is in the west of the province of Veneto, located under a group of 117 separated islands connected by canals and bridges. When we arrived at Santa Lucia’s rail station, I could already notice the atmosphere of love and mystery. The easiest way to move arround Venice is taking the vaporettos, traditional ships used as public transportation trough the canals. Ah, you can also move arround by gondola paying the bagatelle of JUST €80. :,)

Bom, Veneza fica no oeste da região do Veneto, situada sobre um grupo de 117 ilhas separadas por canais e ligadas por pontes. Quando descemos na Estação de Santa Lucia já pude perceber os ares de amor e mistério que circundam a cidade. O meio mais fácil de locomover sem se cansar muito é pegando os vaporettos, embarcações típicas usadas como meio de transporte público pelos canais. Ah, você também pode se locomover de gondola pela bagatela de APENAS  €80. :,)

Guess who got lost among many bridges and alleys? Haha. We decided to take off at Ponte di Rialto (which was under construction unfortunately) and walk until the Piazza di San Marco. We could appreciate every hidden piece of Venice with a singular beauty of each one of them!

Adivinha quem se perdeu no meio de tantas pontes e vielas? Haha. Decidimos descer na ponte Rialto (que infelizmente estava em construção) e ir andando até chegar na Pizza di San Marco. Pudemos apreciar cada cantinho escondido de Veneza que têm uma beleza singular!

Even getting lost, we found our way back! We stopped for lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the way, and stayed all the afternoon at the piazza until the scheduled time of our train to Verona. There’s nothing recorded, but in Santa Lucia there’s a piano left to play. Obviously I didn’t lost the chance and played the Game of Thrones main theme! Hahaha. I received some applauses over there! 🙂

Mesmo nos perdendo conseguimos encontrar o caminho de volta! Acabamos almoçando por um restaurante no meio do caminho e depois ficamos a tarde inteira na piazza até dar o horário de voltarmos de trem para Verona. Não tem registrado, mas na Estão de Santa Lucia tem um piano para quem quiser tocar. Óbvio que eu não perdi essa oportunidade e toquei o tema de Game of Thrones! Haahaha. Arranquei alguns aplausos das pessoas que estavam por lá! 🙂

Premiere with Miss. Peregrine / Pré estréia com a Srta. Peregrine

How you doing? In this post, I want to talk more about the move ” Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”, that I had the privilege to watch it in it’s premiere!

Como estão? Nesse post quero falar um pouco sobre o filme “O Lar da Srta. Peregrine Para Para Crianças Peculiares” que eu tive o privilégio de assistir na pré estreia! 

Well, the movie is an adaptation of a books series by Ransom Riggs. As I just read the first chapters of the first book :P, I’m not able to compare the book with the movie, but we all know that the details are more lurid in the books.

Bom, o filme é uma adaptação da série de livros do autor Ransom Riggs. Como eu li apenas os primeiros capítulos do primeiro livro :p, não sou capaz de traçar um paralelo entre livro e o filme, mas a gente sabe que os detalhes são bem mais vívidos nos livros.

The history is about Jack Portman, an ordinary teenager that lives with his parents in Florida. During his childhood he was raised by his grandfather Abe, that always liked to tell him histories. The one he liked most, was about a home for peculiar children that Abe visited when young in the 2nd World War. When his grandpa dies, he leaves clues that leads Jack to Wales to find the home of these children.

A história é sobre Jack Portman, um adolescente comum que mora com seus pais na Flórida. Durante sua infância ele foi criado pelo seu avô Abe, que sempre o encheu de muitas histórias. A que Jack mais gostava era sobre um lar de crianças peculiares que Abe visitara quando jovem durante da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Quando o seu avô morre, ele deixa para Jack pistas sobre uma ilha misteriosa no País de Gales para encontrar o lar dessas crianças. 

Staying in this island, Jack finds out that the peculiar children live in a temporal loop, created by Miss. Peregrine, who’s is the guardian of these children, to protect them of bad peculiars, called by “ethereals”. During his companionship with Miss. Peregrine and her children, Jack will learn that he has a special mission to comply with his own peculiarity.

Ao ficar na ilha, Jack descobre que as crianças peculiares vivem numa fenda temporal, criada pela Srta. Peregrine, que é a guardiã dessas crianças, para protegê-las  de peculiares maus, chamados de “Etéreos”. Durante sua convivência com a Srta. Peregrine e seus peculiares, Jack vai aprender que tem uma missão para cumprir com a sua própria peculiaridade. 

First, let’s talk about Tim Burton. I think I don’t need to say much about him, because this guy is FANTASTIC! He brought to the movie his classical touch of darkness with humor at the same time, making the movie been apreciated not just by children and teenagers, but by adults either!

Primeiramente vamos falar sobre Tim Burton. Acho que não tenho muito o que falar porque o cara é FANTÁSTICO! Ele trouxe para o filme aquele toque clássico sombrio e ao mesmo tempo com humor, fazendo com que o filme não seja somente apreciado por crianças e adolescentes, mas por adultos também!

The cast choice was great, specially of Eva Green (diva!) as Miss. Peregrine, and so was the make-up! What an amazing thing! And oh, the special effects didn’t leave much to be desired!

Achei ótima a escolha dos atores, principalmente da Eva Green (diva!) como a Srta. Peregrine, e da maquiagem! Que coisa mais incrível! E ah, os efeitos especiais não deixam a desejar não!

I could meet THE couple (Mel and Beni) there!

Acabei encontrando o casal 20 (Mel e Beni) lá!

Verona – La piccola città dell’amore!

Ciao a tutti! In this post I’ll talk a little bit more about my passing through the city of Verona!

Ciao a tutti! Nesse post vou falar um pouco mais sobre a minha passagem pela cidade de Verona!

We left Firenze in the morning by train to Verona. When we had arrived, we left out luggage at the Hotel Milano (we won a courtesy upgrade to a better room btw hehe) and went out for lunch. The hotel’s recepionist has indicated to us the Ristorante Greppia so we could taste the typical foods of the area.

Saímos de Firenze à tarde de trem com destino a Verona. Quando chegamos, deixamos as bagagens no Hotel Milano  (ganhamos um upgrade de cortesia para um quarto melhor inclusive hehe) e fomos almoçar. A recepcionista do hotel nos indicou o Ristorante Greppia para que pudéssemos apreciar os pratos típicos da região.

Verona is very famous by “Romeo and Giulietta” from Shakespeare, so as I’m a big fan of this history, I set the visit to the Giulietta’s house as my priority. It’s located at Via Capello near the Piazza Delle Erbe. As Verona is a little city, one day is good enough to know all the important places.

Verona é muito famosa por “Romeu e Julieta” de Shakespeare, então como sou uma grande fã da história, defini a visita à Casa de Julieta como minha prioridade. O lugar fica na Via Capello perto da Piazza Delle Erbe. Como Verona é bem pequena, um dia é o suficiente para conhecer os lugares importantes. 

Verona is a very cozy city. The architecture gives a touch of charm that makes it unique! I can’t wait to come back again!

Verona é uma cidade extremamente aconchegante. A arquitetura dá um toque de charme que a faz ser única! Não vejo a hora de poder voltar!

Other places to visit in Verona: Museo di Castelvecchio, Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore, Centro Storico di Verona and Piazzale Castel San Pietro.

{Review/Resenha} A Night in with Audrey Hepburn / Uma Noite com Audrey Hepburn – Libby Lomax #1

There was a long time that I didn’t laugh for real with a book a little bit more girly, and when I refer to this kind of books, I want to talk about the cute and funny bokks of Shophie Kinsella’s team.

Fazia um bom tempo que eu não ria de verdade com algum livro mais “menininha” e quando eu me refiro à esse estilo de livros falo sobre os livros fofos e engraçados do time da Sophie Kinsella.

Well, in this book we have as the main character the clumsy Libby Lomax, a young woman who is the most luckless person in the world. She has a declining actress carrer she always get herself in trouble. Her relatinship with her mother and sister is extremely complicated and she barely speaks whith her father, who abandoned her when she was a child to dedicated himself to a writer carrer. The only good thing she inherit from her father was the taste for classical movies and her incondicinal love for Audrey Hepburn.

Bom, nesse livro temos como protagonista a atrapalhada Libby Lomax, uma jovem que é a pessoa mais azada da face da terra. Ela tem uma carreira decadente de atriz e sempre se mete em confusão. O relacionamento entre ela e sua mãe e irmã é extremamente complicado e ela mal fala com o seu pai, que a abandonou  quando pequena para se dedicar a carreira de escritor. A única coisa boa que ela herdou dele, foi o gosto por filmes clássicos e seu amor incondicional por Audrey Hepburn.

In the day that she is fired from her job, that unintentionally matchs with the day she moves to a new and tiny apartament (where the furniture barely fits in), something happens. To heal her wounds she watches her favorite movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, when suddenly Audrey Hepburn appears wright on her side with her black Givenchy dress, the Oliver Goldsmith’s glasses and with the iconic fragrance L’Interdit. Audrey will cause the most incredible upturn in Libby’s life turning it upside down!

No dia em que ela é demitida do seu trabalho, que sem querer coincide com o dia em que ela se muda para um novo e minúsculo apartamento (onde mal cabem os móveis), algo acontece. Para curar as mágoas, ela coloca para assistir seu filme preferido Bonequinha de Luxo, e de repente Audrey Hepburn se materializa perfeitamente ao seu lado com seu vestido preto Givenchy, óculos tartaruga e com a icônica fragrância  L’Interdit. Audrey vai causar as mais incríveis reviravoltas na vida de Libby girando ela completamente de ponta cabeça!

I really enjoyed this book and in some parts I thought that Libby resembled with Bridget Jones, by the british sense of humor of both. The book is really cute and the way that Audrey suits to our world is even cute! I really recommend this book to a very girly fase!

Eu gostei muito desse livro e em algumas partes achei Libby bem parecida com Bridget Jones, pelo senso britânico de humor das duas personagens. O livro é muito fofo e a maneira com que Audrey se adapta ao nosso mundo é mais fofa ainda! Eu realmente recomento muito esse livro para uma fase bem girly!

Firenze – Season Finale

This is the Florence Season Finale! In this day we decided to rest, wake up latter and enjoy the city without using a map. We left our hotel (La Residenza), crossed along the Ponte Vecchio and went walking straight to the Palazzo Pitti. It was the house of de Mecidi Family and their successors until the king of Italy.

Esse é o Season Finale de Florença! Nesse dia decidimos descansar, acordar mais tarde e aproveitar a cidade sem mapa. Saímos do nosso hotel (La Residenza), cruzamos a Ponte Vecchio e fomos andando em direção ao Palazzo Pitti. Ele foi a casa da família Médici e dos seus sucessores até o Rei da Itália.

The Palazzo Pitti’s compound includes besides it, the Giardino di Boboli and the Forte di Belvedere. We decided to enter through the Boboli Gardens and move foward. What is the lack of information, huh? If we knew it, with the same ticket we could have also entered at the Palazzo Pitti! The compound is huge! It worths set a day apart to visit it. We couldn’t enter the fortress because it was closed. 😦

O complexo do Palazzo Pitti inclui, além dele, o Giardino di Boboli e o Forte di Belvedere. Decidimos entrar pelo Giardino di Boboli e seguir em frente. O que a fata de informação não faz né? Se soubessemos, com esse mesmo ingresso podíamos ter entrado no Palazzo Pitti também! O complexo é gigantesco!! Vale a pena reservar um dia para visitá-lo. Não conseguimos entrar no Forte pois estava fechado. 😦

After walking for a long time by the gardens, we had in our minds to arrive at the Piazzale Michelangelo, a square with a panoramic view of Florence. In this meantime, we took the wrong way at the right of the fortress and we got lost, but we could see more things in the way until we reach out our destination.

Depois de caminharmos bastante pelos jardins, tínhamos em mente chegar na Piazzale Michelangelo, praça que tem uma vista panorâmica de Florença. Nesse meio tempo, pegamos o caminho errado à direita do forte e acabamos nos perdendo, mas conseguimos ver mais coisas pelo caminho até chegarmos ao nosso destino. 

The view was incredible but we were starving. We went walking to the Duomo and lunched at the restaurant Caffe Duomo. With our bellies full, I decided that I must see the David from Michelangelo, so we went walking straight to the Galleria Dell’Academia. It’s a important museum of Florence dedicated to the preservation of a colossal art collection until the end of the 19th century. As we didn’t have bought the tickets previously, we had to wait in the queue, but we entered fastt to see my friend David.

A vista era muito bonita mas estávamos com uma fome imensa. Fomos andando até a Duomo e almoçamos em um dos restaurantes ao lado, o Caffe Duomo. Após termos enchido nossas barriguinhas, decidi que queria porque queria ver o David de Michelangelo, então seguimos em direção à Galleria Dell’Academia. Ela é um importante museu de Florença, dedicado à preservação de um vasto conjunto de obras de arte do estilo gótico até o final do século XIX. Como não tínhamos comprado os bilhetes antecipadamente, tivemos que enfrentar aquela fila básica, mas conseguimos entrar rápido para ver o meu amigo David.

Yes, I took the classic photo holding our friend’s dic*, but I won’t post it for embarrassment reasons hahaha. XD

Sim, eu tirei a foto clássica segurando o pip* do nosso amigo, mas não vou postar por motivos de vergonha alheia hahaha. XD

After apreciating many artworks, we went eat at Caffè Megara and after that we were walking arround the close quarters to take the last photos and get back to the hotel.

Depois de olharmos tantas obras, fomos comer no Caffè Megara e depois ficamos dando umas voltinhas na vizinhança para tirar as últimas fotos e voltarmos para o hotel.

The Curitilover Guide #2 / O Guia Curitilover #2

The Curitilover guide is back! And this time I’ll show you a little bit more of the confectionery Sugar Bakery where is very lovely and pleasant. I visited it last saturday with my friend May and we already want to come back!

O Guia Curitilover está de volta! E dessa vez vou mostrar um pouco mais  da confeitaria Sugar Bakery que é muito fofa e aconchegante. Visitei ela com a minha amiga May no sábado passado e já queremos voltar!!

The ambient is quite small but is very cozy. It worths arrive before the 3:30 pm to get a table because the space is a little bit reduced.

O ambiente é bem pequeno mas é super aconchegante. Como o espaço é um pouquinho reduzido, vale a pena chegar um pouco antes das 15h30 para pegar lugar.

To fill up my little belly I chose a coxinha (Brazilian typical snack that was fairy big and without grease \o/), a blueberry cupcake that was delicious and a stevia coke to cure my hangover HAHA. XD Check out the beauty of this foods in the pics:

Para encher a pancinha escolhi uma coxinha (que era razoavelmente grande e sem gordura \0/), um cupcake de blueberries que estava uma delícia e uma coca de stevia para curar a ressaca HAHA. XD Olha a lindeza dessas comidinhas nas fotos:
